Cale Krise Joins Broadway's The Book of Mormon as Elder Cunningham

Cale Krise will take over the lead role of Elder Cunningham in the Broadway production of The Book of Mormon, at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, beginning tonight, June 26.

Krise, who is making his Broadway debut, was most recently seen in the musical Fat Camp, and his other stage credits include Dave Bukatinsky in The Full Monty, Sir Andrew in Twelfth Night, and Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

The Book of Mormon features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. The production is choreographed by Casey Nicholaw and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker. The production won nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
