Alfie Boe, Elton John, Paul McCartney to Perform at Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Concert

Tony Award winner Sir Elton John will be among the performers at London’s Buckingham Palace on Monday, June 4 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee, according to published reports.


Performers will also include Kylie Minogue, Shirley Bassey, Paul McCartney, Alfie Boe, Jessie J, JLS, Robbie Williams, Stevie Wonder, Madness, and Ed Sheeran.


The concert, which will open to the public via lottery, will also be broadcast on television and radio through the BBC.


John won a Tony for his score to Aida and has also composed the scores for the Broadway musicals Billy Elliot, The Lion King and Lestat. He has been one of the top-selling recording artists in the world for over four decades.
