Vivian Reed to Co-Host Black 2: Broadway Celebrates the Tony Awards

Two-time Tony Award nominee Vivian Reed will co-host with Kevin Anthony the seventh annual Black 2: Broadway Celebrates the Tony Awards, to be held at Tian at the Riverbank on Sunday June 12 at 8pm.

The event will gather together past Tony Award winners of color and their fans for a live viewing of this year’s televised Tony Awards with special live performances. There will also be special celebrations honoring the original producers of the multi-Tony Award winning musical, Ain’t Misbehavin’, as well as Donna Walker-Kuhne of Walker Communications Group, and George Faison of the Firehouse Theater in Harlem, who will both receive the organization’s 2011 Vanguard Award.
