Soho Think Tank’s Ice Factory to Begin June 22

Soho Think Tank will present Ice Factory 2011, to run June 22-July 30 at 3LD Art & Technology Center.

The series will open with Robert Saietta and Rebecca Hart’s Struck (June 22-25). Directed by D.J. Mendel, the show, based on a true story, centers on a cult-rock performer who, in the middle of a cross-country tour, finds herself stranded in her hometown.

Ice Factory 2011 will also include The Pig, or Vaclav Havel’s Hunt for a Pig (June 29 – July 2), written by Vaclav Havel, adapted for the stage by Vladimir Moravek, translated by Edward Einhorn, directed by Henry Akona; Pontiac Firebird Variations (July 6-9), written by Casey Wimpee and directed by Matthew Hancock; the ensemble-created An Impending Sense Of Doom (July 13-16), directed by Jeffrey Whitted; Three Graces (July 20-23), libretto and lyrics by Ruth Margraff, music by Nikos Brisco and directed by Ian Belton; and Sometimes in Prague (July 27-30), created by Joshua William Gelb and Stephanie Johnstone.
