Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Tyne Daly, who stars as opera diva Maria Callas in Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway revival of Master Class, will participate in a discussion about the play at The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space at WNYC and WQXR on Wednesday, June 22 at 4:30 pm.

Classical 105.9 FM WQXR host Elliott Forrest will lead the conversation, which will also feature the show's director, Stephen Wadsworth. In addition, cast members Sierra Boggess, Jeremy Cohen, and Garrett Sorenson will perform arias from the play. The event is part of MTC's After Words series, and will be streamed online at www.thegreenespace.org.

In the play, Callas takes us to one of her famous master classes where, late in her own career, she challenges the next generation to make the same sacrifices and dare to rise to the same heights she did.

The Broadway production will begin previews at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on June 14, with an opening set for July 7. For tickets and more information, click here.
