Inspired by the true story of Florence Greenberg, the woman who in the late 1950's took the male-dominated music industry by storm, the musical is conceived by Floyd Mutrux, directed by Mutrux and Sheldon Epps, and written by Mutrux and Colin Escott.

Beth Leavel received a 2011 Tony Award nomination for her portrayal of Florence Greenberg. The cast also includes Erica Ash, Kelli Barrett, Kyra Da Costa, Erica Dorfler, Geno Henderson, Jahi A. Kearse, Allan Louis, Barry Pearl, Christina Sajous, Crystal Starr and Brandon Uranowitz.

The production features musical supervision and arrangements by Rahn Coleman, orchestrations by Don Sebesky, musical direction by Shelton Becton, and choreography by Birgitte Mutrux.
