Michael Cerveris to Join Paul Sanchez for June 7 Joe’s Pub Concert

Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris will join Paul Sanchez for a concert to be held at Joe’s Pub on June 7 at 9:30pm.
The event will feature songs from Nine Lives, the musical based on Dan Baum’s best seller of the same title, that Sanchez has co-written with partner Colman DeKay, as well as other pieces from Sanchez’s song catalog.
Sanchez was a founding member of the band Cowboy Mouth (a name inspired by a Sam Shepard play). He was named New Orleans Songwriter of the Year in 2010, and was awarded, Best Song of the Year for “Hey God” and Best Folk/Rock Album for Stew Called New Orleans. In addition, Sanchez has a recurring role as himself in the HBO series, Treme.
