Lineup for Broadway in Bryant Park Announced

The tentative lineup for Broadway in Bryant Park, running Thursdays July 7 – August 11, has been announced. Each week the series will showcase numbers from Broadway and Off-Broadway in concerts, offered free-of-charge at lunchtime.

The series is slated to begin on July 7 with performances by cast members from Stomp, Baby It’s You, Sister Act and Zarkana.

Broadway in Bryant Park will also include performances from Chicago, Million Dollar Quartet, Catch Me If You Can and Newsical (July 14); The Addams Family, Billy Elliot, Memphis, Rock of Ages, and Voca People (July 21); Anything Goes, The Phantom of the Opera, The Fantasticks, Hair, and Traces (July 28); Jersey Boys, The Lion King, Rent, Wicked, and Death Takes a Holiday (August 4); and Mamma Mia!, Mary Poppins, Avenue Q, and Priscilla Queen of the Desert (August 11).

Scheduled to emcee at the concerts are Bob Bronson, Delilah, Rich Kaminski, Helen Little, Christine Nagy, and Victor Sosa, on-air talent for 106.7 Life FM.

Alongside the concerts will be a contest in which the winner receive a year’s worth of free Broadway tickets. People can enter to win on concert days, between 11am -2pm, at the Bank of America tent on the Bryant Park fountain terrace, or at participating Bank of America banking centers.
