Kate Baldwin to Celebrate She Loves Him CD with July 14 Feinstein’s Concert

Kate Baldwin will celebrate the release of her new CD, She Loves Him, with a concert to be held on July 14 at 8:30pm at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency. PS Classics will release the recording, which preserves an appearance that Baldwin made at the venue earlier this year.

On the 23 track disc, Baldwin performs favorites from Sheldon Harnick’s biggest hits, Fiddler on the Roof, She Loves Me, and Fiorello!, as well as rarely-heard selections from his early Off-Broadway career, film scores and unproduced musicals. Among the songs on the recording are “The Boston Beguine,” “When Did I Fall in Love?,” “A Trip to the Library,” “The Ballad of the Shape of Things,” and “You’re Going Too Far.” In addition, the disc contains duets with Harnick for such numbers as “To Life,” “Dear Sweet Sewing Machine,” and “Sunrise, Sunset.”

Baldwin received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in Finian’s Rainbow. Among her other Broadway credits are Wonderful Town, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and The Full Monty.
