Jonathan Hammond, Tricia Paoluccio, Noah Weisberg Set for A Strange and Separate People

Jonathan Hammond, Tricia Paoluccio, and Noah Weisberg will star in A Strange and Separate People, a new play by Jon Marans. As previously reported, Jeff Calhoun will direct the production Off Broadway at Theatre Row’s Studio Theatre, beginning July 14, with an official opening on July 19.

The play concerns an Upper West Side young Orthodox couple, Jay and Phyllis, who have managed to find a precarious equilibrium in their complicated personal and religious lives that is severely tested when Stuart, a gay doctor who is handsome, cocky, and newly Orthodox, invades their lives.

The production will feature set and costume design by Clint Ramos, lighting by Ryan O’Gara, and sound by Jill BC Du Boff.

Marans’ previous plays include The Temperamentals and Old Wicked Songs.
