James Gandolfini and Angelica Torn are featured in the new movie Mint Julep. Kathy Fehl has written and directed the film, which will have its New York premiere screenings at Theatre 80 St. Marks, June 8-10 at 7:30pm.

The story centers on a woman (Torn), who is on the run from her smalltown husband (played by Ian Torn). Gandolfini plays Torn’s character’s temporary landlord. The movie also features Susan Aston and David Morse.

Gandolfini received a Tony nomination for his Broadway debut in God of Carnage, and recently reprised his performance in the show’s Los Angeles production. He is best known for his Emmy Award-winning work as Tony Soprano on HBO’s The Sopranos.

Torn has recently been seen on stage in Los Angeles and New York in Eugene O’Neill’s Anna Christie. Among her other stage credits are Side Man, the national tour of August: Osage County, Vivat Vivat Regina, Death and the Maiden, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and From Riverdale to Riverhead.
