International Broadcasters for 2011 Tony Awards Announced

The roster of international broadcasters of the 2011 Tony Awards ceremony has been announced, according to a posting on the website for the Tonys. The event, to be held on June 12 at the Beacon Theatre and broadcast live on CBS, will be available in four continents and over 45 countries around the globe.

The international offerings will be available via BIO Channel and available on Pay TV operator FOXTEL in Australia; NHK in Japan; the Arts Channel and on pay-TV operator SKY in New Zealand, the Film & Arts Channel and cable and satellite in South America, and on Armed Forces Television, for US Armed Forces stationed outside of the United States.

In most instances, the broadcasts will occur within a week of the ceremony on June 12. Check local listings.
