Desperate Writers to Close Off-Broadway June 25

Joshua Grenrock and Catherine Schreiber’s Desperate Writers will play its final performance at the Union Square Theatre on June 25. Kay Cole has directed the production.
The show focuses on a couple of desperate writers, with the baby clock ticking and their home about to be sold out from under them, who are driven to desperate measures to get their script read, bought and made.
The cast features Maddie Corman, Jim Stanek, Stephen Berger, Angel Desai, Christopher Durham, Kelsey Nash, Susan Louise O’Connor, Vayu O’Donnell, Catherine Schreiber and Pauletta Washington.
The creative team includes scenic designer Lauren Helpern; costume designer Stephen Donovan, and lighting designer Jeremy Pivnick.
