Ben Vereen to Perform at Upper West Side Apple Store June 13

Tony Award winner Ben Vereen will give a free-of-charge performance at the Upper West Side Apple Store (on Broadway between 68th and 67th Streets in New York City) on Monday, June 13 at 7pm.

He will be performing selections from his new CD, ‘Steppin’ Out Live With Ben Vereen. The star will also be signing autographs for those who come out. The album is available for purchase on the iTunes store through Apple.

Vereen earned a Tony Award for his performance in Pippin. Among his other Broadway credits are Wicked, Fosse, Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, Jelly’s Last Jam, Grind, and I’m Not Rappaport. He is also known for his film and television work, including his Emmy-nominated role as Chicken George in Roots.
