The New York Philharmonic has announced two special concerts for September, and has eliminated its annual summer concerts.

The orchestra will perform with the tenor Andrea Bocelli on September 15 on Central Park’s Great Lawn.

As previously reported, on September 17, it will play William Walton’s music from the movie version of Shakespeare’s Henry V, to be narrated by Christopher Plummer, along with music from Shakespeare’s time at Avery Fisher Hall.
