Alex Draper, Stephanie Janssen, Jan Maxwell, et al. Set for Potomac Theatre Project’s Repertory Season
Potomac Theatre Project (PTP) has announced programming and casting details for its summer repertory season, to run July 5-31 at Atlantic Stage 2.
The season will feature Howard Barker’s Victory: Choices in Reaction, to be directed by Richard Romagnoli. The show, set in 1660 England, centers on a widow of a Republican intellectual, who sets out on a journey of personal exploration. The company will feature Jan Maxwell, David Barlow, Alex Cranmer, Steven Dykes, Robert Emmet Lunney, Robert Zukerman, Michael Kessler, Michaela Lieberman, Willy McKay, Edelen McWilliams, Mat Nakitare and Ele Woods.
Also on the schedule is Steven Dykes’ Territories, which consists of two erotically-charged short plays The Spoils and a light gathering of dust, and will be directed by Cheryl Faraone. The company will include Megan Byrne, Nesba Crenshaw, Alex Draper, Gillian Durkee, Cori Hundt, Stephanie Janssen, and Lilli Stein. In addition, Paul Englishby will provide original music for The Spoils.
The third PTP offering will be Neal Bell’s Spatter Pattern: or, How I Got Away With It, which centers on a university professor under investigation for a grisly murder. Jim Petosa will direct the play, which will feature Jeffries Thaiss, Adam Ludwig, Lucy Van Atta and Christo Grabowski.
