Veanne Cox, Brian Murray Set for Project Shaw’s Village Wooing

Veanne Cox and Brian Murray will take part in Project Shaw‘s presentation of the two-hander, Village Wooing, to be offered at 7pm on Monday, June 21 at the Players Club. David Staller will direct the performance, which will be narrated and hosted by journalist Michael Riedel.

The play is set on a luxury pleasure cruise in 1933 where two determinately single people meet and connect in spite of themselves.

Cox is currently appearing on Broadway in La Cage aux Folles. Her many other stage credits include Company, Caroline, or Change, The Dinner Party, Damn Yankees, Twelfth Night, Last Easter, The Food Chain, and The Prisoner of Second Avenue.

Murray’s recent credits include the Broadway production of Mary Stuart and the Irish Repertory Theatre’s revival of Candida. Among his other credits are The Crucible, Uncle Vanya, The Little Foxes, and Noises Off.
