The Flying Karamazov Brothers will bring a return engagement of their show 4PLAY to the Minetta Lane Theatre for an open ended run with performances beginning on July 22 in anticipation of an official opening on August 9. Paul Magid has directed the production, which uses a script he’s created with the company and features choreography by Doug Elkins and musical direction by Mark Ettinger.

Juggling is at the center of this show that blends music, comedy, dance, and theater. In addition to showcasing the performers’ abilities to juggle their own items, 4PLAY will highlight how the company can respond to the unexpected as the audience will be invited to bring objects to the theater for Karamazov’s Champ to juggle.

The company will feature Magid and Ettinger, along with Rod Kimball and Stephen Bent. The creative team will include Susan Hilferty (costume design) and David Hutson (lighting design). Original music is by Ettinger, Doug Wieselman, and Howard Patterson.
