Recording Artist Charice to Join Glee Next Season

Recording artist Charice will have a recurring role during the second season of FOX’s hit series Glee as a foreign exchange student who turns out to have serious singing abilities, according to published reports.

As previously reported, the series will air on Tuesdays at 8pm for the first part of the 2010-2011 season. The show will return to its original slot of Wednesdays at 9pm sometime in 2011.

The show stars Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, Amber Riley, Jessalyn Gislig, Heather Morris, and Jenna Ushkowitz.

The series will also be adding some new cast members next season, and Broadway veterans John Stamos and Kristin Chenoweth have already signed up for guest roles.
