PHOTO FLASH: Matt Doyle, Christina Sajous, Wesley Taylor et al. at Perez Hilton Saves the Universe Performance at Joe’s Pub

Matt Doyle and Chad Carstarphen joined original cast members Randy Blair, Timothy Michael Drucker, Lindsay Nicole Chambers, Sevan Greene, Laura Jordan, Ana Nogiuera, and Dana Steingold for a one-night-only performance of Perez Hilton Saves The Universe (Or At Least The Greater Los Angeles Area): The Musical, at Joe’s Pub on May 30. Connor Gallagher directed and choreographed the performance.

Originally seen at the 2008 New York International Fringe Festival, the musical features a book by Blair and Drucker, lyrics by Blair and a score by Zachary Redler. It focuses on the celebrity gossip blogger as he confronts the plans of evil Islamic terrorists and Kathy Griffin.

Among the guests at the May 30 show were Christina Sajous, currently appearing in Broadway’s American Idiot, and Wesley Taylor, currently appearing in Broadway’s The Addams Family.
