PHOTO FLASH: Eddie Izzard, Dennis Haybert, Richard Thomas, and Afton C Williamson to Star in Broadway’s Race

On Tuesday, June 8, the new cast of David Mamet’s Race, currently running at the Barrymore Theatre, met with members of the press in a Times Square rehearsal studio. As of June 21, Eddie Izzard, Dennis Haybert, original cast member Richard Thomas, and Afton C Williamson will star in the play, which is scheduled to close on August 21.
In Race, three attorneys, two black and one white, are offered a chance to defend a white man charged with a crime against a black woman. Along with Thomas, the production currently stars James Spader, David Alan Grier, and Kerry Washington.
