Proceeds will support MCC Theater's Playwrights' Coalition program, free PlayLab reading series and literary development activities.
LaBute is MCC's playwright-in-residence. As previously reported, another of his plays, The Break of Noon, directed by Jo Bonney, will open MCC's 25th Anniversary Season this fall. The playwright's other credits include reasons to be pretty, Fat Pig, and The Shape of Things.
