Bernie Kopell, Lou Cutell and Teresa Ganzel will star in Cutell and Joao Machado’s Viagara Falls, to begin performances July 5 at the Little Shubert Theatre in anticipation of an official opening of July 21. Don Crichton will direct the production.

The play focuses on two widowers, war buddies and life-long pals, who decide that they should sow some wild oats as one of them celebrates his 77th birthday.

The creative team will include Bob Mackie (costume design), Sydney Litwack (scenic design), Joshua Scherr (lighting design), and Peter Fitzgerald (sound design).

Kopell is perhaps best known for such television roles as Dr. Adam Bricker on The Love Boat and Siegfried on Get Smart. Among his most recent credits are appearances on NBC’s My Name is Earl and Scrubs. Cutell, who played Dr. Cooperman on Seinfeld, has theater credits which include Young Abe Lincoln, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Little Me, among others. Ganzel has been a frequent guest on The Johnny Carson Show and has been seen in such films as The Duck Factory and Transylvania 5000.
