Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda will perform in Freestyle Love Supreme, at The Gramercy Theatre on Thursday, August 5 at 7pm.

This hip hop improv group spins cues from the audience into instantaneous riffs and fully realized musical numbers.

Miranda is one of the founders of the group. The actor/composer won the Tony Award for his score to In the Heights, and was also Tony-nominated for Best Actor in a Musical for the production. He will reprise his role of Usnavi for the Los Angeles engagement of the In the Heights national tour this month, and is also set to play the part in the film version of the musical. His other credits include contributing Spanish lyrics to the current Broadway revival of West Side Story and composing new songs for the revised version of the musical Working. In addition, Miranda is collaborating with Tony award-winning composer Tom Kitt on the Broadway-aimed musical Bring It On.
