Karen Akers, Christine Ebersole, Steve Ross, Elaine Stritch, et al. Set for 21st Annual New York Cabaret Convention

The lineup has been announced for the 21st Annual New York Cabaret Convention, to be held October 7-9 in the Rose Theater at Frederick P. Rose Hall.

The convention will kick off with an opening night gala, which will feature performances from Klea Blackhurst, Carole Bufford, Barbara Carroll, Jeff Harnar, Nicole Henry, Barb Jungr, Amanda King, Andrea Marcovicci, Sue Mathys, and Marilyn Maye.

On Friday, October 8, If Love Were All: The Timeless Words & Music of Noel Coward will be offered. Nancy Anderson, Christine Ebersole, Gregg Edelman, Nicolas King, Sidney Myer, Sarah Rice, Steve Ross, Craig Rubano, and KT Sullivan are scheduled to perform at this event, which will feature both a special appearance by Elaine Stritch and also the presentation of the first annual Noel Coward Cabaret Award to Jennifer Sheehan, who is also scheduled to perform.

The Cabaret Convention will close with Songs For a Saturday Night on October 9, which will include performances from Karen Akers, Kevin Dozier, Tanya Holt, Karen Mason, Stearns Matthews, Amanda McBroom, Karen Oberlin, Johnny Rodgers, Avery Sommers, and Lumiri Tubo.

Additional performers and special guests for each event will be announced at a later date.
