Gilles Marini to Be Guest of Honor at El Portal’s BEYOND Opening Night Gala

BEYOND, which is described as French cabaret elegance show with multi-cultural, world-class entertainers, dancers, aerialists, acrobats, and a smoky torch singer, will make its world premiere at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, July 1-August 1. A special benefit opening night will be held on Thursday, July 2, featuring film and television star Gilles Marini as guest of honor.

The show is created by international aerialist, acrobat, and dancer Aurelien Roulin, who is also co-producer and co-director with Clara Duda. It will feature original music by French composer and singer Emmanuel Moire.

In addition to Roulin, the cast will include Alex David, Arthur Davis, Brittany O’Connor, Christine Ivy, David Matz, Gana Ganchimeg, Jennifer Shields, Jill Otte, Kavita Rao, Liz LeGrande, Michael Pena, Minn Vo, Rachel Bowman, Ripley Rade, Sarah Romanowsky, Sunny Soriano, Tara Page, and Yusuf Nasir.

Marini plays Luc Laurent on ABC’s Brothers & Sisters. He recently hosted the show Ballroom with a Twist. He appeared on season eight of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and his film credits include Sex and the City: The Movie, One and the Other (L’Une et L’Autre), and The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down.
