Fred Applegate, Mandy Bruno, Matt Leisy, et al. Set for Upcoming York Musical Readings

The York Theatre Company has announced casting for two shows, to be presented as part of its Developmental Reading Series, held at Saint Peter’s.

On Thursday, June 3 at 7pm, Anna Bergman, Renèe Brna, Michael Brian Dunn, Brittney Lee Hamilton, Matt Leisy, Michael Nostrand, Steve Watts, Kimberly Whalen, Richard White, and William Zeffiro will be featured in Rogues to Riches. The musical has book and lyrics by Robert Serva, with music by Lynn Crigler, and is inspired by the Restoration comedy, The Beaux Strategem by George Farquhar. The reading is directed by Robert Serva with music direction by Lynn Crigler.

On Friday, June 4 at 3pm, Fred Applegate, William J. Brooke, Mandy Bruno, Xander Chauncey, Brian Childers, Bill Galarno, Charles E. Gerber, Steven Hauck, Charles Karel, Ashley Fox Linton, Christopher Hudson Meyers, Terry Palasz, Verna Piercz, Jeff Raab, Nicholas Sattinger, Kristen Lee Sergeant, and Barry Shafrin will be featured in Scandalous Behavior: The New 18th Century Musical. Based on The School for Scandal by Richard Brinsley Sheridan, the show features book, music and lyrics by Jeffery Lyle Segal. The reading is directed by Jeffery Lyle Segal with music direction by J. Oconer Navarro.
