Deborah Gibson to Star Opposite Tiffany in Syfy Movie Mega Python vs. Gatoroid

Broadway veteran Deborah Gibson will star opposite fellow 1980s pop star Tiffany in the Syfy Network’s original movie, Mega Python vs. Gatoroid, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Mary Lambert will direct Naomi Selfman’s script, about a fanatical animal-rights activist (Gibson) who liberates exotic snakes from pet stores and sends them to the Everglades where they grow to enormous sizes. Tiffany will portray an overzealous park ranger trying to save endangered alligators.

Gibson’s Broadway credits include Cabaret, Les Miserables, Grease, and Beauty and the Beast, with other stage credits including Cinderella, Funny Girl, The King and I, Gypsy, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
