Daniel Beaty’s new solo show Through the Night has extended its run at the Riverside Theatre, and will play four additional performances, June 6-8.

Charles Randolph-Wright has directed the production, which features scenic, lighting, and projection design by Alexander Nichols and original music by Lindsay Jones. The piece was performed earlier this year at the Crossroads Theatre in New Jersey and the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.

In the piece, Beaty plays six interconnected African-American males ranging, as well as the people who love them. Beaty’s other work includes Resurrection and Emergence-SEE!, for which he won an Obie Award.
