Carole Demas, Baby Jane Dexter, Telly Leung, Joan Rivers, et al. to Appear at Laurie Beechman Theatre in July

The Laurie Beechman Theatre has announced its programming for July.

Joan Rivers will continue to appear at the venue, offering performances July 7-8 and July 14-15, with a portion of the ticket sales benefiting God’s Love We Deliver and Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Other offerings in July include The Name ‘N Lights Cabaret (July 1), featuring Amy Regan, Paul Wyatt, Luke James, and Tyler Phillips; a concert of songs by Tiffany Schleigh (July 10); A Brief Night Out (July 21), written by and featuring Marla Mase, along with Martin Vidnovic; Kyra Selman: Fierce. Vixen. Bitch. (July 25-26), which will also feature Melissa Lone and Frank Viveros; and Readers Ensemble Company’s REC Radio Variety Show (July 22, 29).

The theater will also be home to a one-night-only performance of Cabaret Hotline Online (July 13), which will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary and will feature Lucille Carr-Kaffashan, Suzanne Carrico, Hector Coris, Booth Daniels, Baby Jane Dexter, Tim Di Pasqua, Terese Fischer, Sue Matsuki, Sidney Myer, Maureen Taylor, and Jim VanSlyke.

Solo performances will come from Katie Kreisler (July 7), Ron Mesa (July 8), Toby Blackwell (July 9), Susie Mosher (July 11, 25), Karen Jacobson (July 12), Telly Leung (July 18), and Carole Demas (July 22, 24).

The venue will also present the previously reported Sondheim Unplugged series and the theater’s ongoing After Party and Le Scandal Cabaret.
