These personal tales of LGBT life range from coming out Arab, to owning ones sex, to being consumed by and delving into the life of a porn star. The program is presented as part of the 10th annual Out Like That! Festival.
Upcoming theater events in the festival also include a reading of Francisco Perez's full-length play Frankie about a young male-to-female transsexual, to be presented June 20 at 4pm. Theatre Askew Youth Performance Experience's Home/AWAY, a play written by Winter Miller, directed by Tim Cusack and Jason Jacobs and created in collaboration with eight young people from across the rainbow spectrum of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and straight experience, will perform on Tuesday, June 22 at 8pm.
