NY:LON to Perform Benefit for West Side YMCA Strong Kids Campaign

The London-based youth community arts group NY:LON will give a benefit performance at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater, on June 22 at 6:30 pm.

Comprised of two-dozen teenage students from one of London’s most socially and economically deprived regions, NY:LON participants have each developed an individual piece of the collaborative performance, which will feature live and recorded music, dance and choreographed movement, devised and play text drama, multi-media projections and Broadway show tunes. The project aims to teach students to examine arts, cultural, and environmental parallels between London and New York.
