Eric Michael Gillett and Jay Rogers to Host Divapalooza 12

Broadway veteran Eric Michael Gillett and MAC Award winner Jay Rogers will host Divapalooza 12, a benefit for Help Is On The Way Today, to be held at the Metropolitan Room on June 29, at 9:30 pm.

The evening will feature an all-male cast singing the hits of your favorite Diva’s. Performers will include Lennie Watts, Tom Gamblin, Daryl Glenn, Stearns Matthews, Troy Cain, Michael Booth, John Bronston, David Gurland, Robert Fowler, T.Oliver Reid, Arbender Robinson, and Stacey Todd Holt.

Help Is On The Way Today is a non-for-profit founded by Joseph Macchia to help children living with HIV and AIDS in New York City. The benefit will also kick off the organization’s Project Backpack drive, which collects new backpacks and school supplies for the children.

There is a $15 Cover Charge or you can bring $15 worth of school supplies or a new backpack. There is also a two beverage minimum. For reservations, call 212-206-0440.
