Three-time Tony nominee Brian Murray, currently on Broadway in Mary Stuart, will be celebrated by The Players with a “Pipe Night,” on June 14.

One of The Players longest traditions, Pipe Nights are named for the smoking of churchwarden pipes in the evenings. They began in 1905 and continue as testimonials to entertainment professionals to celebrate their contribution to the arts. The evening will begin with cocktails at 6pm, followed by dinner at 6:45pm, and then a program honoring Murray starting at 8:45pm.

On hand to salute Murray will be his Mary Stuart co-stars Janet McTeer, Harriet Walter, and John Benjamin Hickey, along with playwright Edward Albee, and actors Marian Seldes and Judith Ivey. Karen Akers will provide the musical segment of the program.

Tickets for this black tie optional evening are $150 per person. Call 212-475-6116.
