David Bertolino’s Deep Throat Sex Scandal to Premiere Off-Broadway at Ha! Theater

The HA! Theater will premiere David Bertolino’s new play The Deep Throat Sex Scandal, September 14-26. Jerry Douglas will direct.

The play tells the story of a movie created by a hairdresser from the Bronx which grossed over $600 million and ignited the sexual revolution.

Bertolino’s first theatrical venture Spookyworld showcased the talent of over 200 actors each evening for 14 years. The Deep Throat Sex Scandal is his first work in New York theater. Douglas has written or directed several off-Broadway productions and many films. He has also written as a free-lance journalist for publications such as The Advocate and Manshots.
