The Atlantic Theater Company has announced three of the five productions it will present during its 2009-2010 season. No casting is currently available.

The Mainstage season will kick off with a double bill of David Mamet’s one-acts Keep Your Pantheon and School (September 9-November 1), to be helmed by artistic director Neil Pepe, and will continue with the U.S premiere of Sam Shepard’s Ages of the Moon (January 9-March 7), to be directed by Jimmy Fay of Ireland’s Abbey Theatre, where the play was first presented. It concerns two old friends, who are reunited by mutual desperation. A third play will be announced later.

The Atlantic 2 season will feature the world premiere of Bekah Brunstetter’s Oohrah! (September 1-27), to be directed by Evan Cabnet. The play concerns a man who returns from an uneventful tour in Iran but still has trouble re-adjusting to domestic life in North Carolina. A second play will be announced later.
