John Pizzarelli to Release Richard Rodgers CD in August

Award-winning guitarist-vocalist John Pizzarelli will release his newest CD, With a Song In My Heart: John Pizzarelli Sings the Music of Richard Rodgers on the Telarc Jazz label on Tuesday, August 19.

The CD features arrangements by Don Sebesky and appearances by such musicians as Bucky Pizzarrelli, Cesar Camargo Mariano, and Larry Fuller. Selections will include “It’s Easy to Remember,” “Happy Talk,” “The Lady is a Tramp,” “You’ve Got to Be Carefully Taught,” and the title tune.

Pizzarelli will appear in support of the CD at such venues as the Dakota in Minneapolis (August 21), the Catalina Bar & Grill in Los Angeles (August 27-31), and the Ritz Carlton in St. Louis (October 11). In addition, he and his wife, singer Jessica Molaskey, will return to the Café Carlyle for an eight-week engagement, September 9-November 1.
