Estelle Parsons, Molly Regan to Join August: Osage County on June 17

Oscar winner Estelle Parsons and Steppenwolf Theater star Molly Regan will join Tracy Letts’ critically acclaimed family drama, August: Osage County on Tuesday, June 17 in the roles of Violet Weston and her sister Mattie Fae. They will replace Tony Award nominees Deanna Dunagan and Rondi Reed, respectively.

As previously announced, Frank Wood, Robert Foxworth, and Jim True-Frost will also join the cast that day in the roles of Bill, Charlie, and Little Charlie respectively.

The show, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, concerns a missing patriarch and the reunion of the Weston clan who must deal with his disappearance in rural Oklahoma. It has won numerous awards this year including the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the New York Drama Critics Circle Award, and the Drama Desk Award, and it is nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play.
