Eddie Mekka to Star in My Mother’s Italian… Starting July 20

Eddie Mekka will replace original star Steve Solomon in the one-man show, My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m in Therapy, beginning on July 20 at the Westside Theatre downstairs.

The long-running show, written by Solomon, is the story of one man’s unconventional upbringing in a multi-ethnic, thoroughly dysfunctional family.

Best known to television audiences as Carmine Ragusa on the classic sitcom Laverne & Shirley, Mekka’s many stage credits include The Lieutenant, The Magic Show, Jumpers, Fiddler on the Roof, Hairspray and The Goodbye Girl.
