The committee is once again chaired by Barbara Siegel, a contributor to both TalkinBroadway.com and TheaterMania.com. The other members are Dan Bacalzo, TheaterMania.com; Christopher Byrne, Gay City News; Patrick Christiano, Dan's Papers and Theaterlife.com; Jason Clark, Entertainment Weekly; Gerard Raymond, Backstage and The Advocate (and TheaterMania contributor); and Richard Ridge, Broadway Beat TV. Bacalzo, Byrne, Raymond, and Ridge have all served on previous nominating committees.

The awards are traditionally held in May, with nominations announced in late April.
