Lincoln Center Theater has announced its two productions for the Fall 2007 season.

The Vivian Beaumont will host William Shakespeare’s late-period play Cymbeline, beginning on November 1 with an official opening on December 2. The production will be directed by Mark Lamos, who has previously directed Lincoln Center’s productions of Seascape, The Rivals, and Big Bill.

The Mitzi Newhouse will house the New York premiere of The Glorious Ones, a musical about a troupe of commedia del’arte actors written by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, based on the novel by Francine Prose. Graciela Daniele will direct and choreograph the production, which begins on October 11 and opens officially on November 5. The show had its world premiere this spring at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre. The team has previously collaborated on the LCT production of Dessa Rose.

Casting and designers for both productions will be announced at a later date.
