The Broadway revival of Les Misérables is undergoing some major casting changes in the coming weeks.

Ben Davis has left the production in the role of Javert. Between June 18 and July 6, the role will be alternated by Drew Sarich and Ben Crawford, after which Robert Hunt takes over the part. In addition, Mandy Bruno has departed as Eponine. She will be succeeded on June 18 by Megan McGinnis, who has starred on Broadway in Little Women and Beauty and the Beast.

Lastly, Chip Zien will play the role of M. Thenardier for 10 weeks beginning on July 29, while original star Gary Beach takes a leave of absence from the show. Zien’s many Broadway credits include Into the Woods, Falsettos, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Grand Hotel.

The production will continue to star Alexander Gemignani as Jean Valjean, Lea Salonga as Fantine, Ann Harada as Mme. Thenardier, Max Von Essen as Enjoras, Ali Ewoldt as Cosette, and Adam Jacobs as Marius.
