Buckley, Cosby, Franz, Guy, et al. Set for Stamford Center Season

The Stamford Center for the Arts in Stanford, Connecticut has announced its offerings for its 2007-2008 season.

Elizabeth Franz, who won the Tony Award for Death of a Salesman, will star in Frank McGuinness’ new play, The Bird Sanctuary (September 26-October 7), in which a doctor returns to Dublin to make a dangerous request of her artist sister. Later in the fall, Keith David and Jasmine Guy will star in the classic comedy The Fourposter (November 28-December 16), re-set during the Harlem Renaissance.

Concerts and comedy appearances will be performed by such artists as the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis (September 28), Betty Buckley (October 5), Queen Latifah (October 9), Lewis Black (November 28), George Winston (March 5), Bill Cosby (March 30), Marvin Hamlisch (April 26), and Natalie Cole (May 18).
