Shoshana Bean and Megan Hilty to Tour in Wicked

Shoshana Bean and Megan Hilty will play Elphaba and Glinda, respectively, for three legs of the national tour of Wicked this fall. The pair, who starred together in the show’s Broadway production, will play Portland, Oregon’s Keller Auditorium (September 6-17), Seattle’s Paramount Theatre (September 20-October 1), and Toronto’s Canon Theatre (October 6-November 26).
Bean has also starred on Broadway in Hairspray and was featured in the Actors’ Fund Benefit Concert of Hair. Hilty made her Broadway debut in the role of Glinda.
She will be starring in Vanities at the Mountain View Performing Arts Center in Mountain View, California, starting on June 21.
The Wicked tour is currently in Detroit, with upcoming engagements in Cleveland, Minneapolis, San Diego, Costa Mesa, and Tempe. The current cast features Kendra Kassebaum (Glinda), Julia Murney (Elphaba), Alma Cuervo (Madame Morrible), P.J. Benjamin (The Wizard), Sebastian Arcellus (Fiyero),and K. Todd Freeman (Doctor Dillamond).
