Lorenzo Lamas to Make Cabaret Debut at Feinstein’s at the Regency

Film and television star Lorenzo Lamas will make his cabaret debut at Feinstein’s at the Regency, October 30-November 11, in a show created by the room’s namesake, cabaret singer Michael Feinstein. Lamas is the son of actors Arlene Dahl and Fernando Lamas; he is best known for his role as Lance Cumson on the CBS nightime soap Falcon Crest, and he currently plays Hector Ramirez on the CBS daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful.

The fall 2006 season at Feinstein’s will kick off with the famed R&B duo Ashford & Simpson (September 12-23), followed by the return of Kitty Carlisle Hart (September 26-30) and a stint by jazz singer Stacey Kent (October 3-14). Up next, Jessica Molaskey, who is currently appearing at the Algonquin Hotel’s Oak Room, will team up with songwriting great Dave Frishberg (October 17-28). Feinstein will conclude the fall lineup with his annual holiday-time engagement (December 5-30).

The room’s Sunday and Monday Night Series will feature appearances by Rebecca Kilgore (September 11), Joe Francis and Joe Caruso (September 17-18), Nancy Tabb Marcantel (September 25), Karen Benjamin, Alan Chapman, and Ray Evans (October 9), Gianni Russo (October 16, November 27, December 18), Jeff Harnar (November 5-20), and Harvery Granat (December 4).
