Vicki Lewis, Valerie Pettiford, Sally Struthers, and Adrian Zmed will be among the stars appearing as part of the Valley Musical Theatre’s inaugural season. All shows will take place at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.

The Valley’s concert series, which takes place next month, kicks off on Friday, July 7 with The Leading Ladies, starring Teri Bibb, Karen Culliver, and Mary D’Arcy, all of whom have played Christine in the Broadway production of The Phantom of The Opera. On Saturday, July 8, Pettiford — a Tony Award nominee for Fosse — will star in her solo show Hear My Soul. On Sunday, June 9, Lewis — who starred in the Broadway revival of Damn Yankees — will join David Engel, Damon Kirsche, and Elizabeth Ward Land for Four in the Afternoon, a revue of musical theater songs.

The Valley’s main season will begin with the musical revue Beehive (September 22-October 8), followed by Nuncrackers (November 17-December 3), a holiday-themed musical by the creators of Nunsense. The show will star Struthers and Zmed, and be directed and choreographed by former Chorus Line star Kay Cole.
