Joshua Park Will Be Goodspeed’s Pippin

Joshua Park will play the title role in the Goodspeed Opera House’s production of Stephen Schwartz’s classic musical Pippin, July 14-September 24. The production will be directed by Gabriel Barre and feature choreography by Mark Dendy. No other casting has been announced.

Pippin, which features a book by Roger O. Hirson, tells the story of the son of King Charlemagne in his quest to find meaning in his life. The show, which won six Tony Awards, includes such songs as “Corner of the Sky,” “No Time at All,” and “Magic to Do.”

Park won the Theatre World Award for playing the title role in the 2001 Broadway musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. His Off-Broadway credits include Prodigal and A Celtic Christmas. His film credits include The Bog Creatures and Blood Relic.
