McDonald, Luker, Wopat, Cavanaugh, Kushnier, et al. Will Perform in Unzipped Series

Broadway stars Audra McDonald, Rebecca Luker, Tom Wopat, Michael Cavanaugh, and Jeremy Kushnier are among the many performers set to participate in the Unzipped Concert Series at the Zipper Theater, June 14-26. The schedule is as follows:
June 14, 8pm: Songwriter’s Night
Recording artist Jeremy Schonfeld will host up-and-coming songwriters Paul Scott Goodman, Karen Jacobsen, Michael Lanning, and Larry O’Keefe.June 17 & 18, 8pm: John Epperson: Show Trash
The artist principally known as Lypsinka will present his critically acclaimed autobiographical show.June 18, 11pm: Hip-Hop Theater Festival Closing Night Party
World-famous DJ Spinna will play music all night long to celebrate the culmination of the Fifth Annual Hip-Hop Theater Festival.June 19, 3pm: Above The Belt

The lead vocalist from the Broadway hit Movin’ Out will perform a combination of original songs and covers, backed by a band made up of some of Broadway’s best musicians.June 21, 8pm: Everett Bradley’s SOULstice

Schonfeld and Kushnier, best known for his starring roles in Footloose and Rent, will each perform a set of their original songs.June 24, 8pm: David Pack and Friends
The former lead singer of the pop group Ambrosia will show off his songwriting and producing talents, offering up his pop hits plus selections from his Grammy-winning album The Songs of West Side Story: A Tribute to Leonard Bernstein.June 25, 11pm: Eisa Davis
The award-winning playwright and actress will performing an original work.June 26, 7pm: Peter Eldridge & Lauren Kinhan
Eldridge and Kinhan, both members of the Grammy Award-winning vocal group New York Voices, will present individual sets of their original songs.
