Manhattan Bound to Premiere at Neighborhood Playhouse in July

Manhattan Bound, a new musical set on a New York City subway platform, will have a six-performance run at the Neighborhood Playhouse from July 21 through 25. Created by Lawrence Feeney, producer and creator of theAtrainplays, the show will be written, scored, rehearsed, and performed in just eight days.

The libretto for Manhattan Bound will be written by Michael Lazan and Erica Silberman; music and lyrics will be by Jeremy Schonfeld. The show will be choreographed by Tricia Brouk and directed by Gregory Simmons.

In addition to Feeney, performers scheduled to appear in the show include Tracie Thoms (Joanne in the upcoming film version of Rent), Kevin Townley, Julie Garnye, Erica Ash, Cynthia Pierce, and Ron Stetson.
