Espinosa, Ripley, and Shields to Star in Helen of Troy Concert

Brooklyn‘s Eden Espinosa will star with Alice Ripley, Cary Shields, and Bruce Vilanch in a concert presentation of Helen of Troy, a new musical based on the Greek legend, to be held on Monday, June 13 at 9pm at the Canal Room (285 West Broadway).

Gary Griffin, who helmed the recent Encores! production of The Apple Tree, will direct the presentation. Also featured in the cast will be Brandi Chavonne Massey, Klea Blackhurst, Will Swenson, and Shannon Connelly. The Helen of Troy score is by AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson and musician Brendan Healy; the show has a book by screenwriters Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais (The Commitments).
